About Us:
Poland Spring Resort is looking for an energetic, experienced Breakfast Cook Supervisor to lead our morning service. We pride ourselves on a high-quality buffet experience for our guests.
Job Description:
The Breakfast Cook Supervisor will be responsible for preparing hot and cold buffet items, overseeing the setup and breakdown of the buffet, managing the breakfast team, and ensuring high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Cooking & Prep: Prepare eggs, breakfast meats, pastries, and continental options according to recipes, ensuring quality and presentation.
  • Supervision: Lead the breakfast team, assign tasks, manage inventory, and ensure the buffet remains stocked throughout service.
  • Cleaning & Sanitation: Maintain a "Clean As You Go" policy. Clean all equipment, sanitizing surfaces, sweep/mop kitchen, and remove garbage to the dumpster.
  • Guest Service: Assist with special requests and promptly handle food service needs.
Qualifications:
  • 1+ years of cooking experience in a hotel or restaurant setting.
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred.
  • Must have valid food handlers/ServSafe certification.
  • Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
