Located inside Dallas Fort Worth International Airport, Grand Hyatt DFW offers a dynamic hospitality environment serving business travelers, leisure guests, airline crews, groups, and international travelers. The Breakfast Server is responsible for providing prompt, polished, and memorable breakfast service, ensuring tables are properly maintained, orders are taken accurately, and guests receive exceptional care from arrival through departure.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide warm, attentive, and professional breakfast service to guests in Grand Met.
• Greet guests promptly and ensure a welcoming dining experience from the moment they arrive.
• Take breakfast orders accurately and communicate special requests, allergies, and dietary needs to culinary colleagues.
• Deliver food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and service.
• Check on guests throughout the meal and respond quickly to requests for refills, condiments, additional items, or other service needs.
• Maintain knowledge of breakfast menu items, ingredients, preparation methods, and hotel offerings.
• Coordinate with hosts, server assistants, bartenders, culinary colleagues, and restaurant leadership to ensure smooth service flow.
• Ensure tables are properly set, cleaned, reset, and maintained throughout the breakfast service period.
• Assist with side work, opening procedures, closing procedures, and restaurant cleanliness standards.
• Process guest checks accurately and follow proper payment, room charge, and cash handling procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining room, service stations, and assigned work areas.
• Anticipate guest needs and provide thoughtful, personalized service in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Follow all hotel, restaurant, sanitation, food handling, and service standards.
• Communicate guest concerns, service opportunities, and operational issues to restaurant leadership promptly.
• Support restaurant operations as needed during peak periods, special events, or changes in business volume.
• Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude at all times.
• Perform other restaurant and food and beverage duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant, hotel, food and beverage, or guest service experience preferred.
• Breakfast or full-service restaurant experience strongly preferred.
• Strong guest service skills and a genuine desire to care for others.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced breakfast environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to follow direction, prioritize tasks, and remain organized during busy service periods.
• Strong attention to detail, cleanliness, and presentation.
• Ability to read and understand menu items, allergen information, and guest instructions.
• Food handler certification or ability to obtain required certification, if applicable.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings starting at 5:30 AM, weekends, and holidays.
• Experience in an airport hotel, full-service restaurant, or high-volume dining environment preferred.Top of Form
