Join our collaborative and compassionate team as a Breast Oncology Clinical Navigator where you will play a vital role in guiding patients through every step of their cancer journey.

As a Breast Oncology Clinical Navigator, you will serve as a dedicated advocate for patients and families helping them navigate the complexities of breast cancer diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary oncology and surgical teams to remove barriers to care, coordinate services, and ensure every patient receives personalized high-quality support.

What Youll Do

Serve as a primary clinical resource and advocate for breast cancer patients and their families throughout the care continuum.

Conduct individualized needs assessments to identify medical, emotional, financial, and social barriers to treatment.

Coordinate care across oncology, surgery, radiology, and support services to ensure seamless patient experiences.

Provide education, guidance, and emotional support to patients and caregivers during diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship.

Connect patients with community resources, financial assistance programs, and support services.

Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the broader care team to optimize treatment access and improve outcomes.

Help ensure compliance with National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC) standards.

Promote a safe, compassionate, and patient-centered care environment.

Minimum Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelors degree in a healthcare-related field preferred.

Experience:

  • Experience in breast oncology, cancer care coordination, or patient navigation preferred.
  • Experience supporting patients through oncology treatment pathways is highly valued.

Licensure & Certification:

  • Healthcare certification that includes patient navigation training or comparable training approved by NAPBC standards.

Skills & Expertise

  • Strong knowledge of oncology care and chemotherapy treatments.
  • Understanding of insurance reimbursement systems and payer coverage.
  • Knowledge of financial assistance programs and community support resources.
  • Ability to identify and address social determinants of health and barriers to care.
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership and collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Exceptional communication and patient education skills.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
  • Compassion, empathy, and professionalism when working with patients and families in stressful situations.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to document accurately in electronic systems.
  • Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
