Breast Imaging Radiologist in Coastal South Carolina with MUSC - Tidelands Health

The Department of Radiology & Radiological Science at The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) is seeking a board-eligible or board-certified Breast Imaging Radiologist to work full-time at Tidelands Health. This role is an employed position within MUSC Health and practices within the Tidelands Health system in Georgetown, Horry, and Williamsburg Counties, the second fastest growing region in the country.

Required Qualifications:

· Board Certified/Board Eligible and MQSA certified

· Completed a one-year fellowship in Breast Imaging

· Eligible for medical license in South Carolina

· Strong foundation in all aspects of breast imaging including screening and diagnostic mammography, MRI, biopsies and localizations

Position Highlights:

· Full-time onsite position – Monday through Friday (8AM to 5PM)

· No Call, No Weekends

· Great mix of screening and diagnostic mammography. All units are tomosynthesis. Perform image guided biopsies including ultrasound, MRI, stereotactic, and localization procedures.

· Modern imaging infrastructure, including single VPN access, Sectra PACS, and PowerScribe dictation

· Collaborative, experienced clinical team dedicated to providing high-quality care to the local community

· Work with state-of-the-art equipment

· Supported by a premier cancer institute, radiologists enjoy excellent professional relationships with dedicated breast sub-specialists in Breast Medical Oncology, Breast Genetics, Breast Surgical Oncology, Breast Radiation, Breast Pathology, Breast Surgery, and Plastic/Reconstructive Surgery.

· Weekly dedicated Breast Tumor Boards serve as working conferences to deliver the highest quality medicine to each patient in a considerate, caring, and timely manner.
