St. Peters Health Partners Medical Associates is seeking a dedicated and skilled Breast Surgeon to join our established Breast Surgery program at St. Peters Hospital in Albany, NY. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-respected, high volume practice as the third surgeon in a well supported, specialty focused team. With highly skilled, board-certified and fellowship-trained breast surgeons, experienced surgical teams, and state-of-the-art procedure rooms, St. Peters Health Partners offers comprehensive breast surgery in the Capital Region.
Position Details:
- Join a growing Breast Surgery group as the 3rd surgeon
- Balanced mix of operating room and office-based practice, averaging approximately 15 OR days per month
- Provide comprehensive surgical care for patients with breast cancer and related breast conditions across the continuum of care
- Perform breast conservation procedures and advanced surgical techniques, including lumpectomy, mastectomy, and oncoplastic breast surgery, with a focus on preserving breast tissue and optimizing outcomes
- Evaluate patients through clinical assessment, imaging review, and biopsy to guide diagnosis and treatment planning
- Provide cancer care coordination: work collaboratively with medical oncologists, radiologists, and plastic surgeons to develop multidisciplinary treatment plans

Qualifications:
- Completion of a Breast Surgery Fellowship OR Board-Certified General Surgeon with at least 3 years of practice where 50% or more of clinical volume is breast surgery
- Eligibility for licensure in New York State

Recruitment Package
- Base Salary: $389,050-$428,446 with the ability to earn more
- Starting Bonus: $25K
- The posted salary reflects the starting range of total compensation and does not include productivity bonuses, incentives related to quality and performance, extra shift incentives, and other forms of cash compensation as applicable to the position. In addition, providers typically receive a CME allowance and other benefits offered by their medical group employer. Please note that this salary range is provided in accordance with State law and is subject to variation due to the factors noted above.
