Breast Surgery - Physician Assistant - Albany, NY

St. Peters Health Partners Medical Associates is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant to support our Breast Surgery team at St. Peters Hospital in Albany, NY. With highly skilled, board-certified and fellowship-trained breast surgeons, experienced surgical teams, and state-of-the-art procedure rooms, St. Peters Health Partners offers comprehensive breast surgery in the Capital Region.

Position Details:

• Office based position, Monday - Friday
• Blend of office-based clinical care and call responsibilities
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative patient education and care coordination
• Outpatient coverage consisting of consults, pre and post op follow ups, and in office procedures
• Shared rotational weekend call consisting of phone calls and occasional in person coverage as needed.

Qualifications:

Applicants should have the following:

• Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• NYS license
• At least one year of surgical experience required, preferably in breast surgery.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team. 

Recruitment Package:

St. Peters Health Partners offers a comprehensive salary and compensation package that includes:

• Competitive base salary range $134,120-$155,579 commensurate with experience
• $5,000 starting bonus paid in first payroll month
• The posted salary reflects the starting range of total compensation and does not include productivity bonuses, incentives related to quality and performance, extra shift incentives, and other forms of cash compensation as applicable to the position. In addition, providers typically receive a CME allowance and other benefits offered by their medical group employer. Please note that this salary range is provided in accordance with State law and is subject to variation due to the factors noted above.
