MAINTENANCE PORTER
Reports to: Maintenance Supervisor
Pay: $12.00 – $14.00 per hour
Position Overview
The Maintenance Porter helps ensure the physical property is visually impeccable and functionally sound, with a primary focus on grounds upkeep and support for the maintenance team.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the physical property is visually impeccable and functionally sound
- Maintain upkeep of grounds, including:
- Pool
- Trash pickup and disposal
- Pet waste testing, pickup, and disposal
- Emptying and restocking pet waste station(s)
- Document found and known issues
- Assist the Maintenance Technician with tenant trash-outs
- Cross-train with the Maintenance Technician as needed or required
- Actively participate in the maintenance team group text
- Attend monthly conference calls, quarterly in-person team meetings, and semiannual in-person team training
- Serve as backup for the Maintenance Technician
- Lift or handle 80–100 lbs on a regular basis
This is a safety-sensitive position.
