Location In-person in St. George, UT, 84790: Reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required). Responsibilities - Assist the brewers in all phases of beer production, including milling, mashing, lautering, boiling, fermenting, transferring, and cellaring.
- Clean and sanitize brewing equipment, tanks, hoses, kegs, and general work areas.
- Monitor fermentation progress and record daily production and inventory data.
- Help with packaging processes, including keg washing/filling, canning, and labeling.
- Load and unload materials such as grain, hops, and chemicals.
- Maintain a clean and organized brewing space and ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
- Assist in quality control procedures and report any issues to the lead brewer.
- Occasionally support taproom staff during events or special releases, as needed.
Skills / Experience - High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products.
- Ability to submit to and pass a background check.
- Must be 21 years old or over.
- Prior experience in a brewery or beverage production environment preferred.
- Comfortable working with chemicals and understanding basic safety procedures.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Physical Requirements - Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to kneel, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
- Tolerance to warm, humid environments and exposure to cleaning agents and brewing ingredients.
