Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Mason to join our team. In this role, you will remove and install refractory products in differente . You will use a combination of modern power tools and traditional hand tools. The ideal candidate has a proven track record as a skilled Mason and a love of the craft.

Responsibilities 
  • Install Refractory products such as Refractory Plastic, Ram, Brick, Castable and Gunnite
  • Removal of refractory with chipping hammers and rivet busters
  • Use hand tools and power tools to perform basic construction tasks
  • Running gunite machinery during installation of refractory materials.
  • Perform stick welding of steel anchors.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
  • Train apprentices in masonry skills
  • Ability to Travel - Currently position would require some out-of-town travel as some of our customers are Out of State. 
Qualifications
  • 5 + years of bricklayer experience, residential and commercial 
  • 3+ years’ experience in construction projects. (Industrial construction is helpful) (Refractory knowledge and experience is extremely helpful, but not required). 
  • Knowledge of construction methods and technologies, and ability to interpret technical drawings and contracts 
  • Knowledge of building forms for masonry work (arches, lintels, ect.)
  • Previous experience as a Mason or in a similar position
  • Ability to adapt to multiple projects simultaneously with a constant eye on quality Certification or training in masonry is preferred
  • Ability to collaborate with other construction professionals
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to adhere to all safety rules and regulations
  • Knowledge of power tools and industrial machinery is preferred
