Position Title: Bridge Design Engineering Manager -(26140229)
The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) is recruiting for a Bridge Design Engineering Manager. This position is a Bridge Projects Design Manager within a given District.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing bridge design projects, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, and collaborating with other departments to achieve project goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bridge design engineering, excellent communication and project management skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Responsibilities:
• Manage bridge design projects from conception to completion • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations • Collaborate with other departments to achieve project goals • Develop and implement project plans and schedules • Oversee the work of junior engineers and technicians • Analyze and interpret design data and reports • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders and partners
Requirements:
• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field • Masters degree in Civil Engineering or related field preferred • 5+ years of experience in bridge design engineering • Strong knowledge of bridge design principles and practices • Excellent communication and project management skills • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
