Jacobs is looking for a talented Bridge Engineer to join us as a vital member within our Northwest Bridge Team. Located in the Boise, Idaho or Spokane, Washington areas, you'll have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of transportation projects in both the Northwest and nationwide. Our transportation projects include highway and railroad projects; from projects in rural areas and National Parks, to urban projects through the heart of our cities; traditional design-bid-build delivery as well as alternative delivery methods such as Design-Build (DB), Construction Manager/General Contractor (CM/GC), Construction Manager At Risk (CMAR), and Public-Private-Partnership (P3) projects.
You'll use your experience to work within multi-disciplinary teams, providing technical expertise in completing transportation structure design and construction projects from conceptual and preliminary design to final design and construction. You'll see opportunities to work and grow in all aspects of structural design including development of structural calculations/designs, drawings, specifications, field inspections, cost estimates and reports. Your experience will also lend well to training, directing, and mentoring junior engineers and CAD staff. You'll also coordinate design activities and meetings between Jacobs staff and subcontractors and assist in business development activities and proposal efforts.

The base salary range for this position is $102,900.00 to $165,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
