At Verdantas, your career goes beyond the expected, and your work helps build a better world.Ready to shape the future of resilient communities?Verdantas is a national consulting group seeking a talented Civil Bridge Engineer to join our team in the Toledo, OH Office or any of our Midwestern Regional offices.We are currently seeking a Full-Time Bridge Engineer to be involved in projects with our Transportation Team and be a part of a growing organization that delivers important bridge infrastructure for our Ohio and National clients.Responsibilities Perform bridge related computations and analysisSupport the preparation of design plans, cost estimates and special provisionsCollect data, gather information, produce documents and reportsAttend design meetings and coordinate with team membersDevelop memorandums and other written technical documentsWork with cross-functional teams in executing project workWork collaboratively with other engineers, professionals, and infrastructure authorities on Federal, State, regional, local, and privately funded improvement and development projectsPerform additional responsibilities as required by business needsQualifications Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or closely related discipline.4+ years of relevant post education experienceOhio Professional Engineering License (or ability to apply within 1 yr)Good technical writing, analytical and communication skillsDetail-oriented with an emphasis on quality work productsExperience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPointMust have the ability to lift 30-50 lbs. and occasionally up to 80 lbs.Must be able to pass a drug screen and background checkSalary Range $80,000 to $100,000Benefits Flexible Work EnvironmentPaid Parental LeaveMedicalDentalVisionLife and AD&D InsuranceShort-Term and Long-Term Disability401(k) with Company MatchPaid Time Off + HolidaysVerdantas strives to develop new ways to increase diversity awareness within our organization.
