Job Description
Bridge Inspection Project Manager - Construction - Base Salary to 120k/year - Indianapolis, IN
- Our client is a civil engineering firm providing engineering, inspection, design, and construction-related services for transportation infrastructure projects. They are seeking a Bridge Inspection Project Manager to manage bridge and small structure inspection projects throughout Indiana. This position may be based in Indianapolis or Lafayette, with hybrid options potentially available.
Responsibilities:
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and workloads for bridge and small structure inspection contracts
- Coordinate with internal project teams, clients, and other project stakeholders
- Perform field inspections of in-service bridges, culverts, and small structures throughout Indiana
- Review and approve bridge inspection reports and documentation
- Review and approve bridge load rating calculations
- Identify bridge and structural deficiencies and develop repair and maintenance recommendations
- Prepare cost estimates for recommended bridge and structural repairs
- Prioritize repair and maintenance recommendations based on inspection findings and structural conditions
- Assist with bridge design calculations and plan development as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering
- Active Indiana Professional Engineer (PE) license
- INDOT Certified Bridge Inspection Team Leader certification or ability to obtain within 1 year
- Previous bridge or transportation engineering experience required
- Experience with bridge inspection, structural inspection, transportation infrastructure, or related bridge engineering work
- Ability to travel to bridge and culvert inspection sites throughout Indiana and meet company driving requirements
Compensation:
- Base salary in the 90k - 120k/year range
