A growing engineering firm located in Secaucus, NJ seeks an experienced structural / Bridge Inspection Team Leader who is looking for a challenging opportunity to lead a construction inspection unit. This person will work independently to plan access, review structure data, perform field inspections and report observed conditions and perform structural capacity load ratings.  Structure types will include bridges, culverts and overhead sign structures.  Will be involved in all phases of structural bridge inspection project development, including planning, scheduling, field inspections, load rating analysis, and report document preparation. Responsibilities:  Lead a structural construction inspection team; Plan safe structure access; Perform on-site, structural condition inspections in accordance with industry and client standards (Visual, Tactile & NDT); Prepare reports to document observed conditions; Be physically able to access structure components in various environments, using various access techniques; Perform / review and check load ratings using computer software including, LARS, AASHTOWare BrR software. Qualifications: BS degree in Civil Engineering with a structural emphasis; 5 - 10 years relevant experience; NJ / NY P.E. License preferred; Bridge inspection experience in NJDOT / NJTA / PANY&NJ  required; Bridge design experience is a plus; Comprehensive knowledge of NJDOT / NJTA policy and standards; Knowledge of AASHTO Bridge Load Ratings including LARS and BrR software plus.  #IND
