Our structures team works on exciting and collaborative projects across the Midwest and Rocky Mountain region. We are seeking a mid-level engineer who not only excels in technical design but also enjoys contributing to team leadership, client engagement, and cross-disciplinary coordination to improve local communities.ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIESinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.Technical Design and AnalysisComplete analysis and design of various transportation structures including bridges, retaining walls and box culvertsUse computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to prepare engineering and design documentsTake ownership for projects and lead the preparation of plans, reports, and specifications for projects. Experience with CDOT, NDOT, SDDOT, or IADOT formats preferredClient Facing and Team CoordinationCollaborate with internal teams and clients to define project goals and deliverables, ensuring strong communication throughout the design processServe as a client liaison, attending meetings, presenting solutions, and building relationships with stakeholdersMentoring and LeadershipMentor junior staff and participate in team development efforts, fostering a collaborative and growth‑oriented team cultureInterdisciplinary EngagementWork closely with transportation, environmental, and planning teams on multi‑disciplinary projects to integrate structural solutions into broader project contextsRequirementsBachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering is required.
