This role involves performing full cycle estimating including plan analysis, quantity takeoffs, bid preparation, and project risk assessment through reviews and site visits.
Responsibilities include identifying bid opportunities, soliciting subcontractor and supplier bids, preparing bid packages, supporting project scheduling, and aiding transition from estimating to construction.
Additional duties involve maintaining cost data, performing job cost analysis, and providing feedback to field teams.
Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or similar, with at least 5 years of experience in bridge or structures projects, heavy civil construction estimating, and preferred field experience from a contractor perspective. PE certification is a plus.
