    Duties and Responsibilities: Brine Room Helper

    Food safety is the responsibility of every employee.  Any issues should be  or not brought to the immediate attention of area supervisor or manager.

    1.       Regularly assist Brine Room Operator.  

    2.       Must be able to follow mixing instructions, written or verbal.

    3.       Must be able to regularly lift bags weighing up to 50lbs, and occasionally move containers weighing up to 250lbs with assistance.

    4.       Must be able to run salt brines independently.

    5.       Must be able to communicate mixing changes, problems, and mixing status of tanks in use at shift change.

    6.       Must be able to maintain a continuous and proper flow of salt brines.

    7.       Responsible for shutting lines down and notifying proper people if an error is made or discovered.

    8.       Scan all ingredients. Complete daily documentation accurately.

    9.       Follow all GMP’s associated with this position.

    10.   Must know and understand all CCPs for this position.

    11.   Maintain a positive teamwork atmosphere by actions, communicating and helping co-workers.

    12.   Complete required annual training and testing.

    13.   Learn additional production jobs and fill in as needed.  May occasionally fill in other production jobs.

    14.   Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

    Position Requirements:

    Job Type: Full-time

    Schedule:

    2nd Shift-night shift: 3pm-11pm, Monday-Friday
    8 hour shift, may need to work extended hours / Overtime based on needs of the business
    Weekend availability in season w/ specific mandatory Saturdays as needed

    Note: (Specific Training will be 1st shift 7am-3pm for up to 17 days)

    Salary: Up to $18.39 per hour
    Earn Bonus Incentives:

    • 2nd/3rd Shift Differential -$1.00 per hour
    • Attendance Bonus -$0.50 per hour
    • 1st Pass Quality Bonus-$0.50 per hour
