Our team is growing! With new projects and increased production needs, we are seeking Production Workers to join our first and second shifts at our Bristol, Virginia manufacturing facility. Opportunities are available in Assembly, Quality, Welding, and Production Support departments.

We are currently seeking Production Workers to join our team on first and second shifts at our Bristol, Virginia manufacturing facility. Opportunities are available in Assembly, Quality, Welding, and Production Support departments.

Hourly wage range: $18–$25 per hour

Starting pay will be determined based on the position, shift, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.

Your Responsibilities

Under general supervision, Production Workers follow established instructions and procedures to perform tasks in an assigned manufacturing area. Responsibilities may include:

  • Perform all duties in compliance with established safety, quality, and operating procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
  • Read and use engineering drawings, work instructions, and production specifications.
  • Wind, assemble, weld, inspect, or fabricate products to meet customer requirements and delivery schedules.
  • Manually assemble materials and components used in transformer manufacturing.
  • Operate semi-automatic or manual winding equipment, depending on the assignment.
  • Operate machinery used to fabricate coils, insulation, wire, or other transformer components.
  • Use computer systems to review schedules and update the manufacturing status of assigned jobs.
  • Complete and maintain required paperwork, production records, check sheets, and quality documentation.
  • Operate cranes, forklifts, and other material-handling equipment after completing required training and authorization.
  • Continually monitor the quality of work and promptly report or help resolve production concerns.
  • Participate in continuous-improvement initiatives, team meetings, and group discussions.
  • Communicate production information accurately to other employees and departments.
  • Cross-train in multiple production areas and assist with training other employees.
  • Work effectively as part of a team while also being able to complete assignments independently.
  • Work overtime, including weekends, when required by business needs.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Required Qualifications

·         High school diploma or equivalent.

·         Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

·         Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment.

·         Willingness to learn new skills and cross-train in different production areas.

·         Ability to work first or second shift and overtime, including weekends, as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

Depending on the assigned department, prior experience in manufacturing, assembly, welding, quality inspection, machine operation, material handling, or reading engineering drawings is preferred but not required.
