Broker Manager – Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Broker Manager to oversee and grow relationships with insurance brokers and agency partners. The ideal candidate will have strong insurance industry knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to drive business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain relationships with insurance brokers and agents
  • Develop new broker partnerships and grow existing accounts
  • Support brokers with product knowledge, quoting, and policy questions
  • Monitor sales performance and help drive production goals
  • Work closely with underwriting and operations teams to ensure smooth processing
  • Resolve broker concerns and provide excellent customer service
  • Track market trends and identify new business opportunities
  • Prepare reports and maintain accurate account records

Requirements

  • Minimum 3–5 years of insurance industry experience
  • Previous broker or account management experience preferred
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
  • Knowledge of commercial and/or personal lines insurance
  • Proficient with CRM systems and Microsoft Office
