A well-established investment firm in Boca Raton is seeking a polished and detail-oriented Brokers Assistant to support Financial Advisors and senior investment professionals in a fast-paced wealth management environment. This position requires prior experience within the investment, brokerage, banking, or wealth management industry. Applicants without an investment industry background will not be considered.
The ideal candidate will have strong administrative abilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage sensitive financial information with professionalism and discretion.
Compensation
Salary Range: $45,000 $65,000 annually, depending on experience, licensing, and industry background. Potential bonus opportunities and benefits may also be offered. Salary ranges are aligned with comparable brokerage support and investment operations roles in the South Florida market.
Responsibilities
Provide daily administrative and operational support to Financial Advisors and Brokers
Prepare investment account paperwork, new account documentation, and client onboarding materials
Coordinate client meetings, calendars, and follow-up communications
Assist with trade processing, money movement requests, and account maintenance
Maintain accurate client records and ensure compliance with FINRA and SEC regulations
Generate investment reports, portfolio summaries, and presentation materials
Communicate professionally with high-net-worth clients regarding account servicing needs
Work closely with custodians, compliance teams, and internal operations departments
Support advisors with client relationship management and business development initiatives
Qualifications
REQUIRED: Previous experience working within an investment firm, brokerage, wealth management firm, private banking environment, or financial advisory office
Minimum 2+ years of experience in a Broker Assistant, Client Services Associate, Investment Operations, or similar financial services role
Strong understanding of investment accounts, securities, and financial terminology
Experience with CRM systems and brokerage platforms preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook
Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
Professional communication and client service abilities
FINRA licenses (Series 7 and/or 66) are a plus but not required
