Posion Title: BSN Case Manager (0.5 FTE) DEPT: Nursing REPORTS TO: Program Director for the RPED Nursing Grant FLSA: Non-Exempt SALARY: $29,500 - $32,500 (grant-funded posion, subject to funding availability) BSN Case Manager - Nursing Students Job Summary The Case Manager provides individualized support and care coordina on to pre-nursing and BSN nursing students par cipang in the RPED grant program. The Case Manager serves as a primary point of contact for students and works collabora vely with faculty, advisors, and campus partners to iden fy barriers to persistence, connect students with resources, and promote academic success, reten on, and degree compleon. Essenal Dues and Responsibili es Student Support and Case Management: Conduct regular one-on- one meengs with students to assess needs, iden fy barriers to success, and develop individualized success plans. Resource Naviga on: Connect students with academic, nancial, personal, and community resources, including tutoring services, counseling, emergency assistance, childcare resources, transporta on support, and other available programs. Retenon and Persistence Support: Provide proac ve outreach to students experiencing academic or personal challenges and assist them in developing strategies to remain enrolled and progress toward degree comple on. Referral Coordina on: Collaborate with faculty, advisors, and campus support oces to facilitate mely referrals and coordinated interven ons. Student Advocacy: Advocate for student needs and promote equitable access to ins tuonal resources and opportuni es. Workshop and Program Par cipaon: Assist with the planning and implementa on of workshops, orienta ons, and student engagement ac vies designed to promote academic success and professional development. Collabora on: Work closely with nursing faculty, academic advisors, and other student support personnel to ensure a coordinated and suppor ve learning environment. Documenta on and Data Tracking: Maintain accurate records of student interac ons, services provided, and outcomes. Collect and report data required for grant evalua on and program improvement. Compliance: Ensure conden ality and maintain records in accordance with ins tuonal policies and applicable regula ons. Qualicaons Bachelor's degree in nursing, social work, educa on, counseling, public health, or a related eld required. Experience working with college students or diverse popula ons in advising, case management, counseling, student aairs, or related se ngs. Strong communica on, interpersonal, organiza onal, and problem -solving skills. Ability to maintain conden ality and work eec vely with diverse student popula ons. Commitment to student success, equity, and inclusive prac ces. Preferred Qualica ons Master's degree in a related eld. Experience working with rst- generaon, rural, or historically underserved student popula ons. Knowledge of higher educa on systems and student support services. Experience with data collec on, repor ng, and program evalua on.
