Essential Functions School Year (35-40 hours per week) Advise a targeted caseload of approximately 50-75 students in grades 7-11, maintaining regular and meaningful contact with each. Plan, facilitate, and attend Breakthrough Brigade events. Provide one-on-one academic advising, including communicating with students and families after school and occasionally during evening hours. Visit campuses 2-3 times per week to conduct advising appointments (school year only). Monitor and follow up on student attendance, engagement, and academic progress; track updates in BTC's data systems (SalesForce) and communicate needs to relevant stakeholders (families, teachers, and team members). Host after-school academic tutoring for students 2-3 days per week. Support and attend Saturday Sessions. Plan and facilitate Family Nights. Summer (40-50 hours per week) Facilitate and participate in family conferences and team meetings to support student progress and development Substitute core academic subjects such as math, science, social studies, and literature as needed Use restorative practices to foster community building and student engagement Participate in social-emotional learning initiatives to support students'' holistic growth Supervise students during breakfast, lunch, passing time, YO-time, class time, arrival, dismissal, and field trips Other Duties as assigned Further help on this page can be found by clicking here.

Visit partner school campuses two to three times per week to conduct student advising appointments. Monitor student attendance, engagement, academic progress, and other indicators of success; document updates in BTC's Salesforce system. • Communicate student needs, progress, and concerns with families, teachers, school partners, and BTC team members. • Plan, facilitate, and participate in Breakthrough Brigade events and other student engagement activities. Host after-school academic tutoring sessions two to three days per week. Support and attend Saturday Sessions. Plan and facilitate Family Nights and other family-engagement opportunities.
