Job Summary:
Coordinates the efforts of the carpet tile packout line; which includes but is not limited to: repairing carpet, verifying styles, coding and counting off goods.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lift full stacks of tiles off the line at one location and transport them to the feed table.
- Oversee line operations to insure there are no mislabeled cartons/pallets.
- Oversee style changeovers and verify the line is purged prior to beginning the next style.
- Use CAMS AS400 system for various tasks such as inputting waste, verifying styles, and monitoring the press schedule.
- Accurately count and code all defective tiles.
- Troubleshoot/correct issues with the following:
- Stackers
- Conveyor lines
- Tamper
- Top & bottom boxer
- Robot stacker
- Pallet Indexer
Experience/Education Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Knowledge of CAMS AS400
- Must pass Munsell Color Test
- Good communication and interpersonal skills are required.
- Microsoft Office and Excel knowledge is preferred.
- Previous experience in similar position is preferred.
- Must be able to work without direct supervision.
Other Requirements:
- Able to sit or stand for long periods.
- Able to lift and carry objects up to 80 lbs.
- Repetitive motions on a computer and pack-out line controls.
- Must be able to work overtime when needed.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- All accidents must be reported immediately.
