The Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (DOT&PF) Southcoast Region Support Services is looking for a Budget Analyst 1 to help us Keep Alaska Moving!

Are you ready to take the lead in financial reporting and play a key role in supporting leadership in Southcoast Region? As our Budget Analyst, youll be the go-to expert for budget analysis and performance reporting, ensuring that key performance initiatives are accurately tracked and communicated. Working directly with the Regional Director, Deputy Regional Director, and Administrative Operations Manager, youll keep the region on track financially and strategically.

Minimum Qualifications
Two years of technical level experience in accounting, budget, finance, or similar field. This includes, but is not limited to, such work as Accounting Technician 1 and 2, Administrative Assistant 1 and 2, Statistical Technician 1 and 2, or Human Resource Technician 1 and 2 with the State of Alaska, or the equivalent elsewhere.
Substitution
A bachelors degree from an accredited college in accounting, finance, business administration, economics, statistics, or a closely related field will substitute for the required experience.
