SPECIAL NOTES:
Four (4) years of professional experience in an Accounting or Finance related field is required. A post-secondary degree may be used as an alternative for years of experience on a year-for-year basis.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR THIS POSITION INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING REQUIRED ENTRY LEVEL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
This position requires a security background check, including fingerprint as a condition of employment.
Must be willing to work Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The hiring salary range is $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 and will be commensurate with experience.
Employees of the Department of Financial Services are paid on a monthly pay cycle.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
This position assists in completing the Legislative Budget Request; provides written review and analysis of proposed legislation; monitors monthly spending plans; reviews procurement documents for budgetary sufficiency; makes recommendations and ensures technical accuracy of budget amendments for assigned divisions; and monitors performance measures and standards for assigned divisions.
