The Hourly is with tips so there's ranges as we're located on a busy strip, people need to their flower.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products tailored to their needs, ensuring a positive shopping experience
- Educate customers on product features, effects, and proper usage through engaging product demos and clear communication
- Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing
- Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure products are stocked, rotated, and presented attractively
- Conduct inventory checks, stock replenishment, and assist with stockroom organization to support smooth store operations
- Promote upselling opportunities by recommending complementary products and special offers to maximize sales
- Handle customer inquiries via phone with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
Requirements
- 3+ years in retail sales experience, preferably in customer-focused environments
- Supervising or team leadership experience is a plus, demonstrating ability to guide colleagues and ensure excellent service standards
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic retail math for cash handling and transaction accuracy
- Bilingual skills are highly desirable to serve a diverse customer base effectively
- Strong communication skills coupled with friendly phone etiquette to engage customers confidently
- Experience in product demos, merchandising, stocking, and upselling techniques that drive sales growth
- Knowledge of cannabis products or willingness to learn about industry-specific regulations and product details
