About the Role:
Cajuns Fabulous Fried Chicken Inc is looking for a talented and passionate Buffet Cook to join our kitchen team in Gulfport, MS! Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook a variety of buffet-style dishes, including fried chicken, sides, and Southern comfort food staples
• Monitor buffet line to ensure food is consistently fresh, well-stocked, and presented attractively
• Follow recipes and portion guidelines to maintain food quality and consistency
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work station in compliance with food safety standards
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and replenishment of buffet items
• Properly store and label food items to minimize waste and ensure freshness
• Assist with receiving and rotating food inventory as needed

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a cook, line cook, or in a buffet/high-volume kitchen setting preferred
• Knowledge of Southern and Cajun-style cooking techniques is a plus
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume food service environment
• Strong understanding of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
• Positive team-player attitude with strong communication skills
