Our client, a IT Services and Consulting company, is looking for a Build Master/ GitLab DevOps Engineer (CI/CD & Release Automation) for their Mason, OH location.
 
Responsibilities:

  • Administer and maintain GitLab, including repositories, groups, permissions, branching strategies, and merge request processes.
  • Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines to support automated builds, testing, deployments, and release management.
  • Oversee source code management, repository governance, version control standards, and code promotion processes.
  • Coordinate and manage code merges, branching, tagging, and release activities across multiple development streams.
  • Monitor build health, pipeline performance, and deployment success rates; troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts to improve build, deployment, and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate closely with development, QA, infrastructure, and operations teams to ensure streamlined software delivery.
  • Help establish and enforce best practices for code management, release processes, and DevOps standards.
 
Requirements:
  • 8 years of IT experience
  • 5+ years administering GitLab Enterprise
  • Strong Build & Release / DevOps background
  • Enterprise CI/CD administration experience
  • GitLab Administration & Source Code Management (5+ years)
  • CI/CD Pipeline Design & Release Automation (5+ years)
  • Scripting & Automation (Python, PowerShell, Bash) (5+ years)
  • Years of Experience: 8.00 Years of Experience
