Job order - J0626-0921 - Permanent Full TimeTitle Build Mechanical TechnicianCategory ArchitectureCity Huntsville, Alabama, United StatesCGI Federal is seeking a Build Mechanical Technician to provide advanced hands‑on expertise in the assembly, fabrication, modification, and repair of prototype hardware and complex mechanical systems for a Next Generation Command and Control (NGC2) program with the U.S. Army. This role plays a key part in building NGC2 capabilities by working across all phases of the hardware manufacturing process. The technician develops, implements, and improves shop procedures, build guidelines, and assembly standards while collaborating closely with engineers, machinists, and manufacturing specialists to deliver high‑quality prototype and production‑ready components.
