Job Summary The City of St. Peters is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Building Attendant to join our team at Water's Edge & Golf Club. In this role, you will help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for guests and golfers. This second-shift position plays a key role in ensuring our facilities are well-prepared for daily operations and events.
Normal Shift: 1:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. (start and end times may vary based on scheduled events) Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts, Thursday through Sunday
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver excellent customer service to staff and the public
- Perform event set up and breakdown, including arranging tables, chairs, and linens according to event specifications
- Maintain facility cleanliness before, during, and after events while supporting event operations team
- Complete facility closing procedures at the end of each event
- Perform general custodial tasks (trash removal, cleaning, sanitizing, sweeping, mopping, operating floor equipment, performing equipment preventative maintenance, utilizing basic hand tools, etc.)
- Order and restock supplies
- Shovel and salt walkways during snow/ice conditions
Minimum Requirements
- Must be a US citizen or lawfully authorized alien worker
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Motor Vehicle Operator's License valid in the state of Missouri
- Fundamental knowledge of janitorial equipment and safe handling of cleaning chemicals
