We are actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced Building Automation Controls Technician to join our dynamic team. This role is an integral part of our engineering department, where you will be responsible for programming, troubleshooting, and maintaining building automation systems (BAS). You will be working on cutting-edge projects, utilizing your expertise in Service Experience, HVAC, Tridium Niagara AX and N4. This is a unique opportunity to apply your technical skills and contribute to our growth and success.

As a Controls Technician, you will be expected to:

1. Program, troubleshoot, and maintain building automation systems (BAS) to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
2. Leverage your expertise in HVAC systems to provide solutions and improvements to our existing infrastructure.
3. Utilize your service experience to deliver exceptional customer service, providing technical support and guidance to our clients and internal teams.
4. Apply your knowledge of Tridium Niagara AX and N4 to design, implement, and manage complex control systems.
5. Collaborate with other members of the engineering team to develop and implement new processes and technologies.
6. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements, continuously enhancing your skills and knowledge.
7. Conduct regular system audits and preventative maintenance to ensure system reliability and performance.
8. Provide detailed reports on system status, performance, and maintenance activities.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in the engineering industry, specifically in a role related to building automation systems (BAS).
2. Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with HVAC systems.
3. Proven experience with programming and troubleshooting complex control systems.
4. Proficiency in Tridium Niagara AX and N4.
5. Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical individuals.
6. Strong problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
7. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
8. A proactive approach to learning and skills development, with a commitment to staying current with industry advancements.
9. Relevant certifications or qualifications in the engineering field would be a plus.
