Building Automation Engineer - Commercial/Industrial Projects

Salary: 100 - 130K

We are looking for a BAS Engineer to a join a full-service controls contractor who is a major player in the Seattle area. Read below and let's chat!

What you will do:

Work on some of the most complex projects in the area by creating the sequence of operations, researching and selecting hardware, reviewing construction drawings/specs, etc.

Collaborate with team to identify energy saving options, modifying design as needed for improvement or to align with field functions

What we are looking for:

3+ years experience designing and preparing the HVAC controls engineering documents for large-scale commercial project environments in accordance with overall project engineering and architectural requirements

Excellent AutoCAD software design skills and overall knowledge of facility mechanical, electrical and building automation systems

Control system product line knowledge strongly desired (Alerton, Distech, ALC, Johnson Controls, Siemens, etc.)

Mechanical aptitude and controls systems knowledge, including ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics

Computer skills including MS Office, Windows, File Structure, AutoCAD, VISIO, and basic TCP/IP network structure and web navigation

Excellent communication skills to interact with Project Managers and fellow engineers on plans, specifications, proposals and to support the design build process

Bachelor’s degree preferred in Engineering, Construction, or related technical field or equivalent work experience
