Position Summary

The Building Automation Installation Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and supporting HVAC control and building automation systems in commercial environments.

Key Responsibilities

Install EMT conduit

Pull and terminate multi-conductor cables

Install HVAC control system components

Use power tools, testing equipment, and measuring devices

Assemble, install, test, and maintain wiring, equipment, and sensors

Follow project specifications and safety standards

Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

1+ years of experience in electrical, HVAC, or a related field, or equivalent training

Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Good communication and basic computer skills

Valid driver's license and ability to meet background requirements

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

Compensation & Benefits

Pay range: $16 - $37 per hour (based on experience and education)

Work Environment

This role involves field work at commercial job sites and may include:

Exposure to varying weather conditions

Extended periods of driving

Frequent standing, climbing, kneeling, and lifting (up to 50 lbs)

Working with construction materials and equipment
