What You'll Do
As the Building Automation Service Manager, you will provide operational leadership for our BAS Service Department while helping drive customer satisfaction, employee development, and long-term business growth.
- Lead daily BAS service operations and coordinate field, engineering, and programming resources
- Support customer escalations, site reviews, and service performance discussions
- Manage department productivity, utilization, backlog, billing accuracy, and service KPIs
- Coach, develop, and support service technicians, engineers, and support staff
- Support complex BAS, HVAC controls, networking, and integration troubleshooting
- Improve service processes, documentation, standards, and customer experience
- Promote safety, accountability, teamwork, and company policy compliance
Qualifications
- 5+ years of BAS, HVAC controls, or related service operations experience
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong understanding of BAS platforms, HVAC systems, controls applications, and troubleshooting
- Experience with healthcare, commercial, education, life sciences, or mission-critical facilities preferred
- Strong communication, organization, customer service, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Schneider Electric EcoStruxure Building Operation (EBO), Continuum, Niagara, Tridium, or similar BAS platforms.
- Experience supporting healthcare, higher education, life science, pharmaceutical, or mission-critical facilities.
- Financial and operational management experience including budgeting, forecasting, and departmental performance metrics.
Work Environment
This position includes a combination of office and field-based responsibilities. Periodic customer meetings and site visits are required.
