Building Automation System Install Team Leader

Convergentz, a division of Hunton Group, has a new and exciting opportunity to join our organization as a Building Automation Systems (BAS) Installation Team Leader. The selected candidate will lead daily field activities while providing hands-on support for the installation, troubleshooting, testing, and startup of building automation and HVAC control systems.

Responsibilities

• Leads daily BAS installation activities and provides hands-on field support.
• Uses blueprints, control drawings, and specifications to install, troubleshoot, test, and support startup of HVAC control systems.
• Examines layouts, anticipates field challenges, and coordinates labor and materials.
• Prioritizes work, monitors progress, and communicates field status.
• Verifies device placement, wiring, labeling, addressing, and workmanship.
• Promotes job-site safety and proper use of tools and personal protective equipment.
• Completes daily reports, redlines, material records, and project documentation.
• Serves as the primary field contact and communicates schedule, scope, material, and site concerns to the Project Manager.
• Supports point-to-point checkout, startup, and commissioning; mentors installers; and identifies required materials and equipment.
