Building Automation Systems (BAS) Specialist – HVAC Controls

We are seeking a Building Automation Systems (Client) Specialist to support a long-term, high-profile facility project in the Albuquerque area. This role focuses on maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing large-scale HVAC and building control systems across a campus environment.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on technical work, system troubleshooting, and working with advanced building automation technologies in a stable, long-term setting.

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize building automation and HVAC control systems across a large facility
• Modify and support control system programming, graphics, alarms, and trending
• Perform startup, commissioning, and system verification activities
• Troubleshoot field devices including sensors, wiring, controllers, and network communication
• Conduct preventive maintenance and point-to-point system checks
• Perform root cause analysis and recommend system improvements
• Support system backups, workstation setup, and user interface configuration
• Coordinate with subcontractors and internal teams to ensure projects are completed on time
• Provide basic system training and support to end users
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures

• 5+ years of experience with building automation systems (Client) / HVAC controls
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems including AHUs, chillers, and central plant operations
• Experience with Client platforms such as Siemens, Johnson Controls, Trane, Alerton, or Automated Logic
• Familiarity with protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, or TCP/IP networking
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, sequences of operation, and technical documentation
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Valid driver's license and ability to work in the field as needed
