Building Automation Technician
Baltimore and DC
Mechanical Contractor serving the Baltimore and DC markets is expanding and adding experienced Building Automation Technicians to their team.
Responsibilities: Install, program, and troubleshoot Client systems
Perform point to point checkout, startup, and commissioning.
Lead or assist with Client design, graphics, sequences of operation, and project documentation.
Support emergency service, PMs, customer training, and system optimization.
Collaborate with sales, engineers, and field teams on scopes, takeoffs, and project planning.
Mentor technicians and help standardize best practices across the Client group.
Qualifications: 5 + years of Building Automation, HVAC, or Electrical field service experience. Prior experience and certification of Niagara4 are required. Strong understanding of Client hardware, DDC programming, and control networks.
Ability to read drawings/submittals and troubleshoot complex system issues.
Experience with multiple Client platforms is highly preferred.
