Full-Time Building Cleaner - Day Shift

Eureka, Illinois

$17.00 per hour

Work Schedule Monday through Friday6:30 AM - 3:00 PM

Looking for a Stable Daytime Position?

ESS Clean is seeking a reliable Building Cleaner to maintain a clean, organized, and safe educational facility in Eureka. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, values consistency, and takes pride in creating spaces where students and staff can succeed.

Responsibilities

Your daily work will help ensure the facility remains clean and welcoming by:

• Maintaining classrooms, offices, hallways, and other interior spaces
• Cleaning and disinfecting restrooms while restocking paper products and soap
• Vacuuming carpets, sweeping and mopping hard floors, and removing dust from surfaces
• Collecting and disposing of trash and recyclables
• Cleaning doors, windows, entryways, and frequently touched surfaces
• Completing assigned cleaning tasks according to established procedures
• Notifying supervisors of maintenance issues or safety concerns

Qualifications

We're looking for someone who:

• Is dependable and arrives ready to work each day
• Can work independently with minimal supervision
• Pays close attention to detail
• Is comfortable performing physical work, including lifting up to 50 pounds
• Can spend much of the shift standing, walking, bending, and reaching

Previous professional cleaning, janitorial, or custodial experience is welcome but not necessary. We provide paid training to help you succeed.
