About the RoleHands‑on problem solver with a passion for keeping facilities safe, efficient, and operational is invited to grow with a global leader in real estate services onsite at a large pharmaceutical company in Fremont, CA.ScheduleSunday – Thursday or Tuesday – Saturday, 2 pm – 10:30 am.What You'll DoPerform maintenance and repairs to mechanical, plumbing, structural, furniture, fire, life‑safety, and control systems; keep facilities and building systems up to applicable standards.Align work with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency requirements, and company directives related to building operations and work safety.Maintain an energy‑management program, ensuring all systems operate efficiently.Assist with a preventive‑maintenance program to ensure building machinery and systems meet or exceed their rated life; perform emergency repairs as needed.Follow departmental policies for the safe storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous materials; maintain a clean and safe workplace.Conduct inspections of building systems (fire alarms, HVAC, plumbing) to ensure operation within design capabilities and achieve environmental conditions prescribed by the client.Apply advanced knowledge to tackle sophisticated problems, mentor others across fields, and lead by example in alignment with CBRE RISE values to foster collaboration and consensus.What You'll NeedHigh school diploma, GED, trade‑school diploma, or equivalent experience with 4‑5 years of job‑related experience.Ability to work a swing shift and on weekends.EPA/CFC certification preferred; certifications/licenses as required by local or state jurisdictions.
