About the Role As a CBRE Mobile Engineer you will be responsible for preventive maintenance and corrective repairs for buildings, industrial systems, vehicles, equipment, and grounds. This role is part of the Engineering and Technical Services function.Job responsibilities include general building maintenance and HVAC preventive maintenance, light troubleshooting, and minor repairs. You will receive company equipment, including a van, tablet, phone, gas card, and personal protective equipment, and you will be assigned a schedule of Monday to Friday, approximately 8:00–4:30. Overtime is available on a voluntary basis.What You'll Do Oversee maintenance and repairs to mechanical, industrial, plumbing, structural, life safety, and control systems to keep facility and building systems up to applicable standards.Review assigned work orders, estimate time and materials needed to complete the repair, and maintain inventory of adequate supplies and tools.Implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure building machinery and systems meet or exceed rated life.Review inspections of building and industrial systems, including fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing, to ensure operation within design capabilities and client-required environmental conditions.Oversee compliance with applicable codes, regulations, governmental agencies, and company directives related to building operations and work safety.Operate company‑issued vehicles in the execution of daily work responsibilities.Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.Coach others and share in-depth knowledge of your job discipline and broad knowledge of several job disciplines within the function.Lead by example and model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values; work to build consensus and persuade others to reach agreement.Impact a range of customer, operational, project or service activities within your team and related teams.Work within broad guidelines and policies.Explain difficult or sensitive information to stakeholders.What You'll Need High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4–5 years of job‑related experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience).Universal CFC certification is a plus but not mandatory.A valid, unrestricted driver's license.Ability to meet physical requirements of the role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and lifting or carrying heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.Judgment ability based on analysis of multiple sources of information.Willingness to adopt new perspectives on existing solutions.In‑depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.Strong organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.Why CBRE?
