An alternative asset management company that specializes in commercial real estate is hiring for a building engineer to site 5 days a week onsite in Norfolk, VA. The building engineer will have oversight of two tenant properties and handle the day to day operations for both locations. Tenant issues may range from tenant improvement work to preventive maintenance and repair of all building systems including but not limited to HVAC, heating, cooling, boiler, chiller, and hardware systems. All improvements and maintenance will be done in a manner that not only protects, but also maximizes the value of the property. Additional daily responsibilities may include reviewing life safety / fire / sprinkler systems, elevator logs, ensuring regulatory compliance, and conducting building inspections.
