About The Role:As a CBRE Building Engineer, you will perform building maintenance and repairs on HVAC/Refrigeration, Controls, and Boiler systems at an agricultural research and development facility.This role is part of CBRE's Engineering and Technical Services function, responsible for providing technical support, preventive maintenance, and corrective repairs to critical building systems.What You'll Do:Perform routine maintenance and repairs on industrial HVAC and refrigeration systems.Perform routine maintenance and repairs on industrial hot water and boiler systems.Troubleshoot complex equipment failures and determine the best course of action, including recommending equipment modifications.Work independently and in small groups while effectively self-managing workloads.Apply standard engineering principles with limited but developing practical experience.Lead by example and model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values.Take ownership of work quality and task completion.Follow standardized procedures and practices to meet objectives and deadlines.Communicate clearly by exchanging straightforward information, asking questions, and confirming understanding.What You'll Need (Minimum Requirements):High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 3-5 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.EPA 608 CertificationMeet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
