Contract Details

• Position Type: Contract
• Contract Duration: 4 months (extension possible; potential to convert to full-time)
• Start: May 8, 2026
• Pay Rate: $22.00 $23.00 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
• Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Job Summary

As a Building Engineer, you will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and repairing building system operations and the performance of various areas including plumbing, electrical, painting, roofing, heating, and cooling.

Key Responsibilities

• Standard repairs and maintenance
• Patch and paint
• Filter changes
• Service any fan cooling units in the ceiling
• Respond to hot/cold calls

Required Skills

• Customer service
• Attention to detail
• Staying organized
• MS Office Suite (Word and Excel)

Preferred Skills

• Experience using CBRE's work order system
• Experience using a tablet

Education Requirements

• High School Diploma

Required Experience

• 3 5 years of experience in building engineering or related facilities maintenance role

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

• Smaller facility location
• Overtime expected
