Position Overview
The Building Envelope Technician supports the inspection, testing, and documentation of building envelope systems to verify performance, quality, and code compliance. This hands-on role involves assisting in the field with visual inspections, diagnostic testing, data collection, and installation verification across roofing, waterproofing, cladding, fenestrations, and insulation systems.

Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical coursework in construction, building science, or materials testing preferred 1-3 years of experience in construction, roofing, waterproofing, or materials testing (entry-level candidates with strong work ethic and relevant experience encouraged to apply) Basic understanding of building materials, envelope systems, and construction drawings Familiarity with tools, ladders, and job site safety practices; willingness to work at heights or on scaffolding Excellent attention to detail, reliability, and willingness to learn in the field Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to work outdoors in various conditions and perform physical tasks (lifting, climbing, kneeling, etc.) Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required.
Travel Requirements
This position requires moderate travel, approximately up to 40% of the time, in support of business objectives and client engagements. Travel may be both scheduled and on short notice, depending on project needs. Destinations typically include job sites, field locations, or regional offices, where work may be conducted in outdoor or operational environments. Adherence to all company safety protocols and use of PPE is required during travel and on-site work.
