As the Building Inspector II, you will: Inspect new and existing residential, business, commercial (TFO's and R2 Occupancy) and other buildings and structures for conformance with safety and other requirements of national, state, and local codes. Review building permits and write field reports. Administer and interpret applicable sections of the City's Code of Ordinances.

What You'll Bring

• High School diploma or GED.
• TSBPE inspector's license, TSBPE trade license or ability to obtain within 12 months.
• ICC Inspector's Certifications - Residential or Commercial Plumbing or the ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, criminal background investigation and MVR check.
• Must possess valid class C driver's license.
