Building Maintenance – 2nd Shift

RIMA is looking for a dependable, hardworking team member to join our Maintenance Department on 2nd shift.

Shift: 2nd Shift
Training Requirement: Candidates must be available to train on 1st shift before transitioning to their regular 2nd-shift schedule.

What You'll Do

As a member of our Maintenance Department, you'll help support facility maintenance operations. You'll work independently on regularly scheduled responsibilities while communicating with supervisors and managers as needed.

Responsibilities include:

• Operating a floor scrubber and maintaining clean production floors

• Sweeping and mopping floors throughout the facility

• Cleaning mop buckets and other maintenance equipment

• Cleaning metal shavings and debris from machines and work areas

• Operating an oil separator

• Moving materials to machines for production operators

• Assisting with general material movement and production support

• Snow removal as needed

• Maintaining a neat, clean, and orderly work environment

• Completing other maintenance and facility assignments as needed

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED required

• Previous maintenance, manufacturing, janitorial, or related experience is preferred

• Dependable and able to work independently

• Comfortable working in an active manufacturing environment

• Able to follow established safety procedures

• Able to lift at least 40 lbs. repetitively and up to 50 lbs. occasionally

• Must be available to train on 1st shift before moving to 2nd shift

Work Environment & Safety

This position works in a light manufacturing environment and may involve exposure to machinery, noise, fumes, and varying temperatures.

Safety is an important part of the job. Required PPE includes hearing protection and safety glasses, which are provided by RIMA. Employees are responsible for providing slip-resistant safety shoes.
