About the Role

As a CBRE Facilities Maintenance professional supporting a leading pharmaceutical client in Lebanon, IN, you will play a pivotal role in upholding the highest standards of safety, reliability, and efficiency for crucial facility operations. Working a consistent Monday through Friday first shift, your expertise will directly contribute to an environment where precision and uninterrupted functionality are paramount. This position is vital for ensuring the seamless operation of a cutting-edge pharmaceutical facility, directly impacting critical production and research activities.

In this hands-on role, you will be entrusted with monitoring, maintaining, and expertly repairing a diverse range of building systems, encompassing vital mechanical, electrical, and utility infrastructure. Operating within a highly regulated environment, your strong technical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and unwavering commitment to quality will be essential. You'll be responsible for promptly troubleshooting issues, performing both preventive and corrective maintenance, and ultimately ensuring that all critical systems run at peak performance, directly supporting the client's groundbreaking work.

What You'll Do

  • Perform on-time, safe completion of fume hood maintenance, pump repairs, reactor maintenance, rigging tasks, and general mechanical equipment upkeep; execute preventive maintenance, small bore piping work, basic HVAC and carpentry tasks, and maintain a wide range of systems including air handlers, vacuum pumps, and mechanical pumps.
  • Apply predictive maintenance practices to identify equipment degradation early, analyze performance trends, and ensure the reliability of all systems within the assigned area of responsibility, using data and inspections to prevent failures and optimize uptime.
  • Fabricate custom parts and components from drawings, sketches, or concepts provided by lab personnel, ensuring accuracy, fit, and functionality to support equipment repairs and modifications.
  • Ensure all tasks are completed safely and in full compliance with local regulations, site requirements, and corporate safety procedures, consistently demonstrating safe work practices in every aspect of maintenance activities.
  • Comply with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency, and company directives related to building operations and work safety.

What You'll Need

  • High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Universal CFC certification is preferred.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
  • Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
  • Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
  • Sophisticated math skills. Ability to calculate mildly complex figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
