What You Will Be Doing:
· Required to paint and perform structural repairs to masonry, woodwork, and furnishings of our building.
· Engages in ground maintenance activities, such as mowing lawns, trimming hedges, snow removal, removing weeds, and raking and disposing of leaves, and refuse.
· Performs the general cleaning and upkeep of the bakery, including buffing, dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, plumbing and washing windows.
· Assisting other departments as requested, including moving furniture and unloading and storing supplies.
· Inspects completed work for conformance to blueprints, specifications, and standards.
· Adheres to company policies and safety regulations.
· Adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules.
· Other duties as assigned
What We Need From You:
· High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred
· This position requires 1-3 years of industrial maintenance experience and a mechanical aptitude
· Work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
· Excellent verbal and written communication
· Able to handle multiple tasks with capability of prioritizing and planning work activities
· Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness with ability to improve and promote quality and safety
· Must demonstrate excellent trouble shooting skills
· Ability to recognize and encourage the behaviors that contribute to teamwork
· Ability to communicate and work effectively with all associates in a team environment
· Must be detail oriented
· Ability to work on their own
