Specified Duties for this job posting: The City of Jacksonville is looking specifically for candidates with the following experience/knowledge:
HVAC Systems Specialist: Possesses strong technical expertise in commercial HVAC systems, a commitment to preventive maintenance, and a customer-service mindset focused on supporting a safe and comfortable work environment for employees and the public.

About the Division:
Facilities Maintenance Services provide proactive maintenance, make repairs, coordinate renovations, and incorporate life-cycle management for all City facilities. As a Building Maintenance Specialist you will work alongside other maintenance professionals to ensure the City buildings are maintained to a high level.
The salary posted is the full salary range for this position.
The starting salary is expected to be in the range of $38,078.51 - $49,502.06 depending on experience and education.
Essential Functions/Typical Tasks
Performing building maintenance and repair work; remodeling buildings; performing preventative maintenance tasks.

Required Education and Experience
Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school.
Possession of an appropriate drivers license valid in the State of North Carolina.
Preferred:
HVAC maintenance background.
