Property development and management company is looking to hire an experience BuildingMaintenance Tech to manage 2 residential buildings on the east side of Milwaukee. These buildings are 2 -3 years old and Class A properties. The Tech will be responsible for all basic plumbing, HVAC, and electrical repairs and for unit turns.<\/p>
Responsibilities of the Building Maintenance Tech:<\/span><\/b>
<\/p>- Complete
work and repair orders in a timely fashion<\/span>
<\/li> - Must be
courteous, polite and efficient at all times<\/span>
<\/li> - Preparation
of vacant units for occupancy including coordination of third party
vendors<\/span>
<\/li> - Estimate
time and extent of repairs<\/span>
<\/li> - Perform
routine preventive maintenance<\/span>
<\/li> - Prepare
vacant apartments for new residents<\/span>
<\/li> - Maintain
material and supply inventory<\/span>
<\/li> - Oversee
work performed by outside contractors as necessary<\/span>
<\/li> - Available
to respond to emergency calls after hours<\/span>

Requirements<\/h3>Qualifications of the Building Maintenance Tech:<\/span><\/b>
<\/div>- Must be
a self starter <\/span>
<\/li> - Ability
to use computer software programs<\/span>
<\/li> - Experience
in maintenance or other related fields (5+ years)<\/span>
<\/li> - Ability
and skills in using maintenance tools and equipment such as drills, saws,
voltage meters, drain cleaner, snow blowers, etc.<\/span>
<\/li> - HVAC,
electrical and plumbing knowledge necessary<\/span>
<\/li> - EPA
Certification preferred<\/span>
<\/li> - Ability
to read and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance
instructions, procedure manuals and blue prints<\/span>
<\/li> - Ability
to apply common sense<\/span>
<\/li> - Ability
to adjust work load and shift priorities when required<\/span>
<\/li> - Reliable
transportation and valid <\/span>
<\/li> - Possess
small tools<\/span>
<\/li> - Ability
to handle physical workload<\/span>
<\/li> - Physically
capable of lifting at least 50 pounds<\/span>
<\/li> - Possess
a valid driver’s license and insurance<\/span>
